[A] Genres We Play Here

This is a complete World of Darkness crossover game. We will support the following modern-day genres within this Chronicle:

WHITE WOLF GENRE LINKS: 11th HOUR GENRE RULES PAGES:

Mortals: the Morsels

V:tR Vampire The Requiem

W:tF Werewolf The Forsaken

M:tA Mage The Awakening
P:tC Promethean the Created

C:tL Changeling the Lost

H:tV Hunter the Vigil is not yet supported here but will be in the future.

G:tS-E Geist the Sin-Eaters a.k.a. The Bound, is not yet supported here but will be in the future
  • ALL GENRES: Before you settle on a character concept, check on the RESTRICTED BACKGROUNDS page to see some concepts that are restricted or forbidden. Additional genre-specific restrictions will be on that genre's rules page (see above).

  • BEFORE YOU FINISH YOUR CHAR SHEET, CHECK IT AGAINST THE RESTRICTIONS FOR ALL GENRES:

Restricted & Forbidden Character Types (Creating A Character Sheet)

http://www.digitalgothic.net/Rules/rulesrestrict.htm

Restricted Merits, Flaws, Backgrounds & Powers (Creating A Character Sheet)

If you are not sure where to find information on the character class you have in mind, ask a Storyteller/Op for help.

Also, almost every genre will have a separate dedicated Yahoo Group besides the main one. Please look at the bottom of the rules page for your Genre and get signed up for the appropriate sub-lists. There are links to the groups there. Membership on both groups is mandatory.

[B] CAST OF CHARACTERS:

  • We do not identify the race or true nature of PC's in public. That information will be earned through RP. (this includes not speaking about it openly in the OOC chat channel).

  • The names of some key NPC's may appear on the rules page for their genre. Please refer to the links above in Section A for those pages.

  • Your character may not automatically assume to know the names on these rosters. If you feel your PC should begin play knowing some key characters in your genre, see your ST and include details of why & how in your background at character creation.

  • Please refer to the Characters web page for the names of the cast, and pictures if they were made available.

[C] POSITIONS OF POWER OR TITLE:

Players are encouraged to RP out competing for any open slots (positions of power), as well as for any slots occupied by an NPC, *IF* your char feels they can best that NPC IC and earn it. Positions of Status for PC's will be awarded for worthy RP and OOC responsibility, not just given to the first player to ask. Please be realistic in your pursuits.

Players who wish to occupy titled positions such as the Prince's or Mage's Council or any other Genre equivalent will need to be available to role-play at least a couple times a week, and/or answer emails normally within a 24 hour turnaround time. If you cannot keep this schedule, please do not apply for any positions of IC authority, as it delays other players waiting on your responses.

The STs do not want to have to run all the characters in positions of power because that sort of sucks a lot of the fun out of playing for everyone else, so players are highly encouraged to strive to achieve titles and positions via RP.
