Map of Anacostia
One of the few bright spots in this part of town. The National Arboretum is located in the NE section of Washington, DC (bordering SE), approximately 10 minutes from the Capitol. There are 2 entrances: one at 3501 New York Ave, NE, and the other at 24th & R Sts, NE, off Bladensburg Road.

LEGACY INFO FROM THE 1.0 GAME:
"You strike my people; and your disorder'd
rabble Make servants of their betters." --
The waterfront is an area of old, rundown warehouses under revitalization, seedy businesses, and a few shops and marine themed stores trying to survive until things get turned around for the better. It is Southeast of the Capitol, around C Street and lower, to Half Street.
Potomac Park - Haines Point - The Tidal Basin
Haines Point is an older park across from the Waterfront, in the Potomac Park area bordering SE and SW (going towards the Tidal Basin). One of the most vivid landmarks is a sculpture of a man emerging from the ground at the head of the park, called "Awakening."
